"Charles "Joe" Denver McPeak, 66, of Logan, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Charles was born March 22, 1949, in Welch, WV a son of the late Charles and Gladys Mitchell McPeak. He was a resident of Man, WV, the last 8 years, prior to that he resided in Hanover, WV. He was a former Coal Miner and Member of the U.M.W.A. and he was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his daughter Jeanie Collins Mitchell of Man and son Charles Jason McPeak of Logan, WV, former wife Lonedda McPeak of Logan, two grandchildren, Paige and Ryan Mitchell; two brothers, Eddie McPeak and wife Kathy of Chicago, IL, Larry Mcpeak and wife Janet of Morango, IL; two step brothers, Dwayne Mcpeak and Dennis Mahaffey both of Mohegan; one step sister, Teresa Morgan and husband Marty of Princeton, WV; two nephews, Randy and Richard McPeak; three nieces, Jessica and Dawn McPeak and Elana Lopez all of Chicago, IL. In addition to his Parents he was preceded in death by his brother Paris McPeak, His sister Patsy Blankenship and Niece Donna McPeak. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 4, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Iaeger, WV. With Pastor Scotty Dingess officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Hensley, WV...."

"ADAIR, CORA ETHEL - Cora Ethel Workman Addair Adair, was born on September 21,1904 and died Wednesday, January 16, 1985. She was the daughter of the late Zackariah Workman and Christine Sizemore Workman."She first married Harrison Addair who preceded her in death. They have one son, Richard of Jacksonville, FL. In 1957 she married Elder Thomas F. Adair who preceded her in death. in 1979. From this marriage she had one stepson, John W. Adair Sr., who preceded her in death in 1966.
"She was preceded in death by four brothers, Carl Workman, McKindley Workman, Ballard Workman and William Workman; one sister, Lizzie Lane.
