Specialty Regency Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born on March 19, 1951 in Gilbert, WV a son of the late
Nelline Smith Hatfield. Frenchie is a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, a member of the VFW, American
Legion and the UMWA. In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his grandmother who raised him
Hulda Jane Carter; a son Frenchie Scott Ball; and a brother Billy Ray Hatfield. Survivors include his loving wife
of six years Darlene Cooke - Duty; daughters Tonya (Woody) Marcum of Chapmanville and Dawn Cobb of
Oceana; sons Josh (Amanda) Duty of Oceana, Frenchie Brian Duty of Indore, WV and Kevin Cooke of Logan; a

"MATHENY — Dorothy Imogene "Jean" Osborne departed this life Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 13 days at her residence. Jean was a 1956 graduate of Oceana High School. She was a homemaker and cook. She enjoyed bowling, was always joking and enjoyed her family and friends."Born January 9, 1938, at Lundale she was the daughter of the late James Osborne (1904-1983) and Curtle May Smith-Osborne (1902-1975). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Osborne (Deceased), Eugene Osborne (Deceased), Robert Perry Osborne (Deceased) and Harold Osborne (Deceased); and two sisters, Elloise Osborne-Stinnette (Deceased) and Anna Ruth Osborne (Deceased). Mrs. Osborne was the last survivor of her immediate family.
