"Connie Sue Addair, 63, of Atwell, WV went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family Monday, January 23, 2023, at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA."Connie was born May 13, 1959 in Iaeger, WV, a daughter of the late Noah Crockett and Nora Underwood Short. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of Christ for 40 plus years. Connie was a former Department Head at Magic Mart in Welch, WV. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and watching the Golden Girls.
"In addition to her parents Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Lowe and a very special and precious aunt and uncle, J and Velvie Deskins.
"Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Donald Addair of the home; one daughter Angela Stevens of Pigeon Forge, TN; one son, Freddie Lowe II and wife Angela Jo of Weston, WV; three grandchildren, Hannah Stevens of Pigeon Forge, TN, Ariella Lowe and Jackson Lowe both of Weston, WV; one sister, Brenda Baker and special brother Jerry Baker of Atwell, WV; one brother-in-law, Doug Lowe of Atwell, WV; a sister of the heart, Linda Jones of War, WV; two special nephews Doug Lowe and wife Sandy of Lexington, NC and Jimmy Baker and wife Dakota of Hendersonville, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
