"Oliver “Dobb” Addair,96, of Iaeger, WV, went to his Heavenly Home on May 24,2022."Dobb was born August 25, 1925 in English WV, a son of the late John and Nannie (Smith) Addair. Dobb proudly served as a Marine Sergeant in WWII and was a member of VFW Post 1144 and American Legion Post 0175. Dobb was a retired coal miner having worked as a coal mine operator for many years. He was a member of Garland Church of the Living God and loved football. Dobb took great pride in helping with the Little Cubs Little League and rooting for WVU. He loved to get out in the community; sharing stories and helping others when he could, never meeting a stranger and a friend to all.

"Demetress Eubanks-Lewis of Cleveland, OH received her wings and flew peacefully to heaven on Wednesday Night, November 18, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic (Hospice Division) Main Campus Hospital in Cleveland, OH after suffering from a short illness at the tender age of 60."Former resident of Kimball, WV, Demetress or “Meta” as some would call her, was born January 3, 1960 in Welch, WV and was formally adopted at the age of 2 by James H. & Geraldine Eubanks, Sr. She was reared in Kimball, WV and attended the McDowell County Public Schools. As she grew up, she attended First Baptist Church of Kimball and was baptized by late Rev. T.V.A. Winston, Sr. While attending First Baptist Church, she served in various capacities of the Sunday School and Church Ministries. During her years at Welch High School, Demetress played the clarinet in the Marching Band and was a very high achieving student.
"Following her 12th grade year (1978), Meta moved to Roanoke, VA and attended Roanoke Business School. October 1978, she gave birth to her one and only child, Myaish Deron Eubanks. After moving several places, she settled in Cleveland, OH and there she met and married the love of her life, Melvin Laney Lewis, Jr. On April 5, 1982, the two became as one. While in Cleveland, Meta attended Cleveland Cuyahoga Community College, worked with her husband for years in janitorial services, a security guard with Wells Fargo, and was also a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Montefiore Nursing Home, all in Cleveland, OH.
"After several bouts with her illness, Meta became a homemaker who enjoyed movie nights and video games with her in-laws and absolutely loved going fishing with her husband and father. Her most loved pastime was reading novel books, reading the Bible and playing games on her phone.
"Demetress (Meta) was proceeded in death by her husband – Melvin Lewis; her son – Myaish Eubanks; her mother – Geraldine Sword Monroe Eubanks; two brothers – James “Jimmy” Eubanks, Jr. & Cecil “Wonze” King, Jr.; one sister – Regina Ann King; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
"She leaves to cherish her memories, her 96 year old Father – James H.
