"LYNCO Emma "Jane" Blevins Green, 75, of Lynco, formerly of Herndon, passed away at her home on October 9th, 2011 after a short illness."Born September 5th, 1936 at Grundy, Va., she was the daughter of the late Hazel and Mary Francis Mollie Brooks Blevins.
"Jane was a member of Herndon Freewill Baptist Church of Herndon. She was an active member of the choir and the Ladies Auxiliary.
"Jane is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Rev. Jackie Lee Green; grandson Matthew Green; brothers, Teddy, Kenneth and Bobby Blevins and a sister, Argyle Cline.
"Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Thomas T. Green (Sharon) of Beeson, W.Va., Toni Jackson of Matthews, N.C., Terina Hildreth (Mark) of Wadesboro, N.C., Maria Cobbler (Jerry) of Ellerbee, N.C., Lori Green of Clintwood, Va., Earl Green of Mount Pleasant, N.C.; Brian Green (Teresa) of Waynesboro, Va., Bradley Green (Katie) of Ansunville, N.C.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
