"Ona Lyn Cline, 70, of Hanover, WV passed away on Friday April 19, 2019 in the Veterans Hospital in
Washington D.C. He was born on October 18, 1948 in Hanover, WV where he resided his entire life. The son
of the late Vernon and Irene Riffe Cline. Ona was a professional truck driver by trade. He was known by
many for his good cheer and great personality toward others. He is a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran
and a 1967 graduate of Baileysville High School. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a
brother Carl Cline. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years Shirley Blankenship Cline; a son Darrell Lee
(Angie) Cline of Cool Ridge; two grandsons Jarrod (Jackie) Cline of Cool Ridge and Jeffrey (Kelsey) Cline of
Coal City; two great grandchildren, who were the love of his life, Raelyn and Parker Cline of Cool Ridge;
four brothers Darrell (Diane) Riffe of Cottageville, James (Vickie) Cline of Hanover, Eddie (Alice) Cline of
Gloucester, VA and Ray (Cathy) Cline of Lyburn; a sister Joyce (Boyd Jr.) Bailey of Frankfort, OH; and a host
of other loving family and friends. A tribute of Ona's life will be held at 3PM on Monday April 22nd at the
Mill Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Brenton, WV with Larry Bailey and Rev. Wayne Bailey officiating. Per
