Billy Joe Mullins, 57 years of age of Raysal, WV, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at Charleston Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. Born July 4, 1962 in Welch, WV, he was the son of the late Mack and Margaret Jean Graham Mullins."Billy enjoyed playing basketball, and shooting pool with his family and friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.
"In addition to his parents Mack and Margaret Jean Graham Mullins, he was preceded in death by his brother Rufus Mullins, infant sister Sandra Jean Mullins and fiancé Kimberly Deel.
"Survivors include his son James Rufus “Cody” Mullins of Raysal, WV; step-daughter Destiny Fanning and husband Johnathan of Bristol, TN; sister Jackie Hamilton and husband Randy of Bristol, TN; brothers Darrell Mullins of Bluefield, WV, Sammy Mullins of Grundy, VA; step-grandson of Luke Fanning, several nieces and nephews.
"Funeral service for Billy Joe Mullins will be held at the Old Country Church in Raysal, WV, Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 12:00 noon with Reverends Danny Bowles and Roger Hale, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Tom Sparks Cemetery in Paynesville, WV."
