"Victoria Michelle Stacy Martin, 48, of Verner, WV, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at her residence."Michelle was born November 4, 1971 in Man, WV. She graduated as salutatorian from Baileysville High School in 1990. She attended the Old Pathway Church. Michelle loved small road trips with her girls and taking many pictures. She also loved shopping at the Family Dollar, listening to music and going to the beach.
"Michelle was preceded in death by her sister, Stephaine (Stacy) Lambert; her grandparents, Mike and Lacine Lester, Lonnie and Hattie Stacy, and Irene Cline; five uncles, Bubby Michael Lester, Lonnie “Tickie” Stacy, Larry Stacy, Carl Cline, and Ona Cline; and one aunt Melissa Cline.
"Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Martin; children, Tori Gross and companion, Codey Haney of Ikes Fork, and Madi and Gracie Martin also of Ikes Fork; one grandchild Jaylynn Gross Haney; parents, James and Vickie Cline of Ikes Fork, and Randall and Gladys Stacy of Hanover; sisters, Sharanda Ellis of Hanover, Andrea (David) Breeding of Warncliff, Jennifer Stacy of Liberty NC, and Christal Stacy of Asheboro, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and friends; a special mention to nieces Danielle Dean Duncan, Miley Lambert and nephew Tucker “James” Lambert.
"Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 3 o’clock with Reverend Johnny Brant and Reverend Wayne Bailey officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until the time of services.
