Mr. Carothers was a native of Pineville, West Virginia and had lived in Augusta for the past 33 years. He was owner and operator of Estil's Foreign Car Service and a member of Berean Baptist Church. "David Russell Spaulding, 67, of Oceana, West Virginia crossed the finish line on Saturday, January 18th
surrounded by his family. David was born on September 17, 1952 in Welch, WV. David is survived by his loving
wife, Sherry, whom he adored for the 49 years of their marriage. He is also survived by his children: Michelle
Short of Oceana, Heather Osborne and her husband Adam Osborne of Bolt, and Ryan and his wife Lindsey of
Cross Lanes. David has left a beautiful legacy for his five grandchildren, who were his pride and joy: Cody and
Chase Short, Riley and Peyton Osborne, and Jacob Spaulding. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Rosie
Perry of Cyclone, his three sisters, Paula Beck of Georgia, Sharon Holiday and Judy Dolfemeyer of Virginia, and a
host of family and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Adkins and Max Spaulding, his
father-in-law, Hayes Perry, and his son-in-law, Micah Short. David proudly served in the Unites States Air Force
and was a Vietnam Veteran who selflessly and faithfully served God, his country, and his family. He was a coal
miner, a member of the Mine Rescue Team, and a member and Deacon of Toler Missionary Baptist Church. A
celebration of life will be held at Toler Missionary Baptist Church on Campus at 1:00pm on Friday, January 24th,
with Rev. Merle Walls and Rev. Clarence Gibson officiating. Burial following at Palm Memorial Gardens. Viewing
will be held at Stafford Family Funeral Home in Lynco on Thursday, January 23rd from 5:00-8:00 pm. The
Wyoming County Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites. I have fought the good fight, I have finished

"Danny Mitchell Muncy age 70, of Berwind, West Virginia, crossed from death into eternal life, April 25, 2022 in Beckley, West Virginia.

"Danny was born in Welch, West Virginia on December 23, 1951. He was the son of the late Sam Muncy and Hazel Jane Miller Muncy. He had attended Big Creek High School, and later attended Concord University. Danny and his late wife, Marsha were specialized foster care providers, having over one hundred and fifty-eight children come through their home. Danny was also a Chief Jailor for McDowell County Correctional Center. Danny loved his community and developed an organization call Berwind Rural Land Development to help create a safe place for the children of Berwind to play ball. He was a member of the Second Chance Ministries where his son-in-law is the pastor and was of the Pentecostal faith.

"Those who walked on into glory before him were his parents, two brothers, Sam Earl Muncy and Ray Henry Muncy; His soul mate and wife of 35 years, Marsha Sebrina Muncy; two sons, John Henry Muncy and Eugene Douglas Muncy.

Frank was born on June 15, 1945 in Welch a son of the late Frank Gonzalez Sr. and the late Antonia Renka White. He was a retired coal miner and a proud member of the UMWA. Frank was a proud veteran of the Navy Seabees. He was also a member of the Christ Cathedral Church in Iaeger. He loved his garden and ginsenging.

"In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by his first wife of 41 years and the mother of his children, Dorothy Davis Gonzalez and a son Marcus.
