"Robin had a passion for life she enjoyed many things such as watching tv, and cooking. Her favorite activity was spending time with her daughter Morgan and her source of great joy, her grandson Jameson. They were truly her world. One of her favorite things was their annual car trips to Alderson to look at the leaves every fall. She enjoyed driving and being out and about. Her love and gift of laughter will be missed by all who knew her.
"In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Terry Stinson.

"David Marvin Walker Sr., age 77, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 8, 2018. Marvin passed peacefully at CAMC, with his family by his side, due to complications from surgery. Marvin was born on April 12, 1941 to Vida Walker in Baileysville, WV"Preceding him in death was his mother Vida Walker. "Marvin and Faye met in Clear Fork WV on June 6, 1959 and they were married on April 8, 1960. She is the love of his life. Their journey took them to Washington DC, Chicago IL, Akron OH and Lafayette to Peru IN before coming back to Pineville to raise a family. The highlight of their journey was on November 17, 1982. That's the day they both accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Marvin was passionate about his relationship with the Lord and was a living testimony to the power of Christ. He loved his sons and grandsons and was proud of all their accomplishments.
"He believed in hard work and honesty. Of his 77 years on earth, he worked 52 of them. The last 42 in the oil and gas field. He drilled wells and worked in WV, KY, PA, OH, IN, VA and TX. He was a member of the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association. Since retiring from Blue Dot Services as a Field Supervisor, seven years ago, he enjoyed going to church, visiting his boys, watching Martinsburg Football games and sitting with Mom at the house.
"The family will receive friends from 6:00pm - 8:00pm Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Evans-Calfee funeral home in Pineville. Funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Silas Mullins on Wednesday, June, 13, 2018 at Rockcastle Baptist Church in Pineville at 11:00am. Burial service will be held immediately after at the Shannon Cemetery in Baileysville. "

"LYNCO - Virgil L. Parsons, 77, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at his residence following a short illness."Born Aug. 9, 1922, in Newton, he was the son of the late William Miranda Parsons (Deceased) and Liddie Smith-Parsons (Deceased).
"Mr. Parsons was a former sawmill worker and retired as a truck driver.
"He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, having received several medals, including three major battle stars, a double cluster Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, a medal of honor, a good conduct medal and a CIB badge. He was a machine gunner in the 5th Army, 81st Platoon.
"He was a member and trustee of Joseph Baptist Church, Lynco.
"Mr. Parsons had been a resident of Wyoming County for the past 43 years. He sang in several quartets in the area.
"He was preceded in death by his brothers, Maynard Parsons (Deceased), Dempsey Parsons (Deceased), Delford "Pete" Parsons (Deceased), Squire Parsons (Deceased) and Senate Parsons (Deceased); and a sister, Delena Parsons-Hensley (Deceased).
