"Reece Jefferson Wilson, 89, of Galax, died Dec. 13,2000, in North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Surry County, NC on March 3, 1911, to Anderson Wilson and Sally Spears Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Twila Virginia Wilson of Galax daughters, Brenda Bowers of the home, Linda and Johnny Osborne of Ennice, NC son and daughter-in-law, Gary Reece and Sue Wilson of Woodlawn 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Funeral was Dec. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Tommy Vass and the Rev. Kenneth Vass. Burial was in the Wilson Family Cemetery.
