was Number 1 for the zone’s Herman Lay in the Carolina’s Region. Before being employed with Frito Lay,
he was known by most as the happy go lucky funny guy at Deskins in Pineville. He enjoyed spending time
with his family, friends and work family. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, playing in the snow, decorating

Tammy. He had a great sense of humor and was a very devoted husband and father and will be greatly
missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. His infectious smile, laughter, devotion, and
dedication are what everyone remembers about Gordon. Gordon made a positive impact on a lot of lives
including his family, his friends, and his co-workers, leaving behind a legacy that we are very proud of.

She loved Wilcoe, and she was thrilled to be working in the community in which she was born and raised. She was admired by her colleagues and revered by her patients. She worked untiringly to help her patients. Her commitment to her profession was unparalleled, and her love for the people of her hometown was evident in everything she undertook.
"She relocated to Mercer County, WV to broaden her scope of helping patients. It goes without saying that she excelled as a physician assistant working at Princeton Community Hospital. In 2011 she was offered a position at Duke Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. While she loved her native community, the opportunity to work at a world-renowned medical facility was an offer she could not pass up. Working at Duke afforded her the opportunity to work with colleagues from around the world. Her last place of employment was with Central Prison in Raleigh, NC, where she retired due to her failing health in 2016.
"While she loved her job helping others and giving back to the community, she often found time to do those things outside of work that she loved so passionately. She was an ardent billiard player, who also enjoyed traveling both domestically and internationally; she was an avid reader of mystery books, novels, and medical journals, she loved all genres of music and most of all she loved her family deeply and passionately.
"In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Marion (Henry) and Madge Bland, and her paternal grandparents, John and Bernice Vineyard.
She leaves to mourn and be missed everyday by, her loving daughters Neketta (Nikki) Ramsey of Columbia, SC and Robyne Ramsey of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by her siblings Abby (James) Troxler of Washington, DC, Rita (Bill Smoot) Vineyard of Charleston, WV, Patrice (James) Norris, Albert Jr. (Tanjina) Vineyard, Devon “Lamont” Vineyard, as well as her extended family and raised as siblings John “Butch” Vineyard, Tony Vineyard, and Delores Vineyard all of Bluefield, WV, Ruby Vineyard Shuford of Hickory, NC, and William Vineyard of New York, NY. Her loving grandchildren Devan Pittard and Tenia Pittard both of Columbia, SC; Jason Edwards, Jamere Edwards, and Emoni Hodge all of Bluefield, WV; and great-granddaughter Skylar Marie Pittard of Columbia, SC; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, classmates, and friends."A celebration of her life memorial service will be held on October 8, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Quality Hotel and Conference Center, 3350 Big Laurel Hwy, Bluefield, WV 24701.
