"After Gerald graduated from Iaeger High School he moved to Ohio to work in Farming. Later Gerald returned with his family to West Virginia to work for the State Road and later worked for the coal mining industry.
"Gerald was an avid hunter, gardener, and gun trader. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was a member of Crossview Church of Christ and loved his church family.
"Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Davis; mother, Lillie Davis; father, Linkous Davis; brothers, Elmer Davis, Matthew Davis, Lawrence Davis, and Charlie Davis.
