"Olla Wave Poe, 88, of Iaeger, WV, died Saturday, July 22, 2017, in the Loving Hands Nursing Home in Bluefield, WV. Olla was born September 15, 1928, in Kolner Rock, VA, a daughter of James Fielden and Ethel Alma Waddell Shumate. She was a retired McDowell County school teacher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband R.E. (Sonny) Poe, a granddaughter, Melody Daniel, and one sister, Lola Blankenship. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Daniel of Maryville, TN, and a great niece, Veronica Helmandollar of Lerona, WV and many other extended family members and friends. Family and friends will assemble at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV, for the graveside service and interment...."
