"Jack was extremely proud to have served in the United States Navy where he retired as Senior Chief Petty Officer. Following retirement, he began his journey as a civilian sub-contractor in the Defense Intelligence Agency at the Pentagon.
"At one time Jack owned over 50 race horses and enjoyed watching them compete.
"He is survived by one daughter, Sondra Marion (Alan), one son, Scott Spratt; one step-daughter, Kelly Laychak (Mike); three siblings, Shirley Strawn, Kathleen Harvey (Ron) and Rondel Spratt; and seven grandchildren, Savannah Spratt, Stephen Spratt (Abbey), Lindsay Lynch (Branden), Brian Marion, Sean Laychak (Samantha), Marcus Laychak and Bridget Laychak.
