"Rockie was born April 22, 1963 in Chicago, IL a son of Reverend Lawyer Bailey Jr. and the late Glenda Bailey. Rockie was a 1981 graduate of Iaeger High School and was a retired coal miner. Rockie was a good and loving father, son, brother, granddad and friend; and he could make everybody laugh. He loved coming to watch Christina cheer, all through school, from grade school through college he never missed a game. He was a huge basketball fan and loved the Caroline Tar Hills. Rockie loved spending time playing with his granddaughters."In addition to his mother, Glenda Bailey, Rockie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Zink and Myrtle Bailey and grandparents, Reverend Lawyer Bailey Sr. and Dacy Bailey; a cousin, Nick Akers; and an uncle Gene Bailey.
