"Roy Eugene Church, 73 of Hensley, West Virginia passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the McDowell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gary, West Virginia. He was born on November 4, 1948 in Welch, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Dorsie McKinley and Ladosea Blanche Hughes Church.
"He was a resident of Hensley, West Virginia all of his life. He was of the Baptist faith. He liked fishing, hunting and watching wildlife. He loved all animals and enjoyed four wheeling.
"Preceded in death, in addition to his parents, is his stepmother Phyllis Ann Church. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 28 years, Regina Church of Welch, a sister in law, Christy Lester and husband Bobby of Welch, and many more family members and friends.
"Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Bluewell, West Virginia with Pastor Tim Akers officiating.

Born on February 2, 1964, in Welch, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Richard and Vivian French O'Neal. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend whose love and kindness knew no bounds."Regina's career path was marked by 10 years of dedicated service as McDowell County 4H Secretary. Her job as an Avon Representative was defined by her steadfast commitment and friendly personality. A member of the Mountain Top Baptist Church, Regina's religious life was vibrant and meaningful. She was a loved member of the community and an inspiration to many.
"Her personal interests were a mirror to her soul. Regina enjoyed crafting, loved jewelry, and a tender heart for animals. She took great pleasure in the company of her friends, often engaging in long conversations over the phone, sharing laughter and encouragement.
"In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Eugene Church, with whom she is now reunited.
"Regina is lovingly remembered by her sister, Christy Lester and husband, Bobby; and her stepmother, Sonja O'Neal. She also leaves behind a dear friend Carol Chaffins.
"She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. Her beautiful smile and upbeat attitude will be forever remembered by all who knew her.
