Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born on December 25, 1944 in Tipple, WV a son of the late Basil Brown and
the late Jessie Fay Tolliver Simmons. Roger is a United States Vietnam Army Veteran, a member of the UMWA
and attended the Ravencliff Church of the Livinig God. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a
brother Isaac Pat Brown; and step brother Bobby Simmons. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Rosetta Farmer
Brown; three daughters Cindy Nicole Brown of Maben, Kristen Brown of Ravencliff and Courtney Brown of
Ravencliff; two sons Roger Dale (Lona) Brown of MD and Nathiah Brown of Ravencliff; two aunts Darlene Swim
and Norma Shumate; two nieces Ashley Blankenship and companion Matthew Newcomb of Oceana and
