"Clarence Junior “June” Hughes, 65, of Davy WV, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his residence. Born July 19, 1954 in Welch WV, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lucille Perkins Hughes."Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7June as we affectionately knew him was a very kind, generous, loving man always helping anyone in need and never wanting anything in return, knowing that the rewards in Heaven was far greater than any here on Earth.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Hughes, one sister, Carol Jean Quintana.Survivors include one son Mack Hughes, grandson Maximus Hughes, brothers, Carlton, Alton, Rayborn, and Franklin Hughes, sisters, Jaqueline Lee, Marilyn Kielek, Ladosca Poniris, Rhonda Bagley, and Theresa Burbett; three close friends, Jimmy Adams, Gary Hale, and Harley “Tater” Morgan.Per his request, the body has been cremated.
