"PINEVILLE - Dennis Stewart, 80, of Pineville, passed away Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, in Heartland of
Beckley following a long illness.
"Born Feb. 27, 1924, at Rockview, he was the son of the late Elonzo and Icie Workman Stewart.
"Mr. Stewart worked for Eastern Associated Coal Corp. as a general mine foreman for 35 years and
attended Cook Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed being with his family, friends and especially
his grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Gunter Stewart; a daughter,
Brenda Bias; a brother, Claren Stewart; two sisters, Marie Scott and Audie Evans; and a special
friend, Eileen Tilley.
"Survivors include a son, Robert Dennis Stewart and his wife, Karen, of Pineville; a daughter, Cathy
Sepko and her husband, Ken, of Greenville, S.C.; a son-in-law, Jack Bias of Pineville; a brother,
Dallas Stewart of Proctorville, Ohio; a sister, Geneva Clay of Saulsville; three grandsons, Chris

"PINEVILLE - Brenda L. Stewart Bias, 55, of Pineville went to be with her Heavenly Father Oct. 6, 2002, for a much-deserved rest."Born Feb. 23, 1947, at Rockview, she was the daughter of Dennis Stewart (1924-2004) of Pineville and Dollie Stewart-Randazzio of Pineville.
"She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Lucille Gunter-Stewart (1924-1996).
"Mrs. Bias was retired from the West Virginia Department of Health and Humane children, Kriste Services with 34 years of service in social work. She was a member of the Wyoming County Child Protection Team and was a statewide child abuse prevention trainer. Mrs. Bias had a master's degree in counseling and was an adjunct instructor of Marshall University and the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. She was a member of Cook Memorial Baptist Church, Pineville.
"In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Jack Bias; a son, Chris Mayhew and his fiancee, Angie Hunt of Pineville; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Karen Stewart of Pineville; a half brother, Michael Randazzio of Pineville; a stepsister and - brother-in-law, Cathy and Ken Sepko of Greenville, S.C.; two nieces, Barbara and Cassie Stewart, both of Pineville; three nephews, Micah Sepko and his wife, Katie, of Greenville, S.C., Michael and Bobby Randazzio, both of Columbus, Ohio; a great-niece, Hannah Sepko of Greenville, S.C.; and two loving pets, Cagney and Laci.
