"Decorations were baskets of white gladioli and mums. Miss Linda Robertson played "O Promise Me," "I Love Thee," and the traditional wedding marches.
"The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white three-piece knit suit with off- white accessories and a short veil. She carried a white centered Bibi with a white orchid and showered with white streamers tied with white carnations and greenery in love knots.
"Miss Claudia Grosse, sister the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a turquoise linen two-piece dress with harmonizing accessories. She carried nosegay of pink carnations showered with white satin streamers.
"Serving as best man was James Sutherland of Athens, brother of the bridegroom. Usher was Larry Daniels of South Point, Ohio, cousin of the bride. The bride's mother wore blue wool dress with Black accessories and a pink carnation corsage.
