"Tammy June Rutherford age 61, of Bluefield, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a brief illness."Tammy was born in Welch, West Virginia, on February 18, 1961, and was the daughter of the late Walter S. Rutherford and June Mullins Rutherford. Tammy was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. After school, Tammy worked various jobs: secretary, CAN, EMS, and cashier. All of her life, she cared for others, and even in death, she gave life by donating her organs for transplant so that many more may live.
