"Jackie (Jack) L. Cline, 76, of Fayetteville Ohio, passed away Sunday March 5, 2023 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio surrounded by love and family. Jack was born July 24, 1946 in Panther, WV. He was a son of late Adam (Jid) and Elizabeth Lockhart Cline. He retired as an automotive worker from General Motors. He was a full-time husband, father, and devoted papaw to his cherished grandchildren. In addition to his parents Jack was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers: Troy Lee Cline, Opal (Cline) Lester, Ray Wade Cline, Garland Cline, Marlene (Cline) Hurley, Verbal (Cline) Rash, Mason Cline, Sharon (Cline) Caudill, Kathy Cline."Jack is survived by his devoted wife Bettie (Rumpke) Cline of 52 years; two daughters Sarah (Cline) Sackrider and husband Chad of Williamsburg, OH and Laura (Cline) Lawson and husband Michael of Lancaster, KY; five grandchildren Garrett, Ethan, and Ashlyn Sackrider, Emalyn and Brinley Lawson; as well as many adored nieces, nephews and cousins.
"Jack was an outdoors enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and camping especially when sharing the outdoors with family and friends. You could count on him to be cheering on his kids and grandkids from the sidelines rain or shine. More than any hobbies or interests, he loved family and sharing laughs with them. We are eternally grateful for the sacrifices he made in his fight for more time and memories with us.
"A special thank you to the Bethesda North Medical and Intensive Care Staff for their great compassion and care during his final moments to say goodbyes.
"In the end his body was no longer strong enough to hold his loving spirit and so we invite you to celebrate his life with us. "Hobert Lewis Cook, 80, of Berwind, WV, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his residence. Born November 15, 1941 in Raysal, WV he was the son of the late Marshall Cook and Dora Short Cook.
Hobert was a former coalminer, former Chief of Police in War, and he was a preacher of the Word of God for over 30 years. He also ran Price’s Kitchen at Canebrake."In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
