"Hazel Imogean Blevins, 78, of Chapmanville, WV, passed away January 18, 2016, in the Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division, In Charleston, WV, following a long illness.
"Hazel was born August, 5, 1937, a daughter of the late John and Hannah Mullins Ward, in Grundy, VA. She was a former cabinet maker and also a home maker.
"Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Chester Blevins of the home; 5 daughters, ELlen Bryant of Lexington, KY, Rhonda Lockhart of McCarr,KY, Kathy Newton of Marion, OH, Joyce Moore of Taylorsville, WV and Ivy Blevins of Hickory, NC; 1 son, Sidney Blevins of Killeen, TX; 1 sister, Joann Belcher of Peterstown, WV; 2 brothers, Bernard Ward of Norwood, OH and Ronald G. Ward of Sevierville, TN; 14 grandchildren and several great and great-great children.
"In Addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Judy Payne; 3 brothers, Arthur Ward, twins Eugene and Donald Ward; 1 son, Johnny Eugene Payne; 2 grandsons, Rick Hammond and Lewis Payne; 1 grand daughter, Michelle Lockhart.
