"Brenda was a homemaker and a member of the Herndon Free Will Baptist Church in Herndon.
"Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 42 years, Charles "Tim" McClaugherty; one daughter, Violet McClaugherty; one son, Chesley McClaugherty; two grandchildren, Nevaeh and Amy; four sisters, Ethel "Sally" Monk-Green, Bonnie Monk-Greene, Sandra Monk-Evans, and Patricia Monk-Branham; and two brothers, Eugene and Earl Monk.
