She was born November 10, 1932 in Hemphill she was the daughter of the late Ella Smith Profitt and Walter Conley Profitt."Maxine was a former cook at Welch Emergency Hospital and a CNA, and she was of the Pentecostal faith.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Fitzhugh Eanes and Otis Kennedy; one son Raymond Lee Eanes; one brother, Walter C. Profitt Jr.; four sisters, Vera Thompson, Josie Eanes, Sylvia Burchett, Shirley Stowe.
