Hez is first seen on the 1880 census of Roane county Tennessee,not as Myers, but as Morrow, with his parents, George and Callie Morrow,and 2 older brothers William and Robert Lee Morrow. Hez was a baby, age 7 months. He is on 1900 Anderson County Tennessee and it says his birth month March. His death certificate differs. By 1910 he is married to Minnie Gray Smith, widow of Sandy Smith, who died 1906 Anderson county Tennessee. Before Sandy Smith died, he and Minnie had Raleigh, Lena(Ennis), and Charles Smith. They were children when Minnie married Hez Myers, though he was their stepfather, he listed them on the census as his own. But their later marriage records show Sandy Smith as their birth father.
"Hez and Minnie married in 1909, and they had Beulah L.,and Sofia(Seluda) Myers,or Morrow in Tennessee.Then they make a move to McDowell County,West Virginia by 1914 where their son Samuel Edward Myers is born,and next Woodrow Myers is born.Hez and his father George Morrow, and Hez brothers,Robert, John, Jack, Rufus,and sister Mollie Myers all went to West Virginia near or at the same time. All will be known as Myers, rather than Morrow, to modern times, except for the father George Morrow, we cannot locate a death record for him. We do have pictures of some of the Morrow/Myers on find a grave. We are truly blessed to have these memories. The Morrow/Myers were hardworking coal miners,in Tennessee as well as West Virginia.

"Born October 17, 1943 in Grundy, VA, he was the son of the late Vince Mullins and Ida Osborne Mullins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was medically retired from the Maytag Co. in Newton, Iowa. He attended the Twin Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, and loved his church family. He read the King James Bible twenty-nine times during his 31 years of marriage to his wife Brenda.
" In addition to his parents he was preceded in dweath by an infant daughter Mary Dawn Mullins; two brothers, Buster Mullins and infant Wainfield Mullins; a sister, Vada Sauter; and three sisters-in-law, Sandy Vance Mullins, Sharon Mullins and Rev. Cathy Abram Stone.
"Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Brenda Gay Fairbanks Hall Mullins of the home; two step sons, Melvin D.
