"Euell Sherman Hanshaw, 82, of Pineville passed away, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Wyoming Nursing and Rehab Center at New Richmond following a short illness.Born January 17, 1932 at Guyan, WV he was the son of the late Sherman Hanshaw and Lucy Morgan Hanshaw.
Mr. Hanshaw was of the Baptist faith. He served in the US Army and was a retired Sergeant and tank commander. He enjoyed restoring old cars, fixing things, chewing tobacco and being with his family especially his grandchildren.

She loved the community she grew up in and was one of the organizers of the Coal Mountain Family Reunion. In later years Betty and her late husband Euell, made their home in Pineville. Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

"Our loving dad, Ted Oliver, Sr., 87, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Bower's Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 17, 1926 in Keyrock, WV, he was the son of the late James Lester Oliver and Viola Jane Adkins Oliver.Ted served in the Army during World War II in Japan and in the Philippines'. He was a coal miner for 40+ years. Ted was a member of the Coon Fork Church for over 45 years, serving as Pastor for a period of time. He was a devoted husband, and loving father. He was also well known for his love of gardening, honey bees and chopping wood. He was a friend to anyone and loved spreading the word of God.
In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hazel Marie Anderson Oliver, as well as 11 brothers and sisters; Earl Oliver, Blaine Oliver, Virgil Oliver, Frank Oliver, Delford Oliver, Edward Oliver, Garland Oliver, Aiden Oliver, Sylvia Oliver Pack, Irene Oliver Cable and Garnett Oliver.
He was deeply loved by his family and friends in Wyoming County and resided on Keyrock Road his entire life.Ted is survived by his three children, Linda Oliver of Keyrock, Ted Oliver, Jr. and his wife, Pamela Jackson Oliver of Pineville and Teena Oliver of Keyrock; Bobby Oliver and wife, Faye of Parkersburg, WV; four grandchildren, Brian Hill of Naples, Italy, Heather Hill Bryan of Keyrock, Tasha Oliver of Pineville and Ted Jackson Oliver of Pineville; six great-grandchildren, Lexie Bryan of Ashland City, TN, Lanie Bryan of Keyrock, Lacie Bryan of Keyrock, Logan and Cayden Oliver of Palm Coast, FL and Caleb Garcia of Pineville.
