He was a retired coal miner. He was a leader of many, respected by all and loved by everyone.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Leroy and Michael Edward Stacy. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Hazel Greenwall of the home; three children, Donna Gail Blankenship and husband Glen of Logan, WV, Lora Lynn Attaway of Georgia, and Jesse Roger Greenwall, Jr. and wife Tina of Jolo, WV; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; five sisters, Daisy Hanson and husband Charles of Oakboro, NC, Glenna Rish of New London, OH, Ethel Williams of Cedar Bluff, VA, Janet Proffitt and husband Rickey and Lorine Kennedy and husband Jerry all of Summer Shade, KY; two brothers, Luther Riley Greenwall and wife Darlene of Olin, NC, Henry Allen "Squeaky" Stacy and wife Sandy of Jolo, WV; and many friends who loved him.
