"William Jennings, 76, of Coalwood, WV, passed away, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his residence.Born March 13, 1941, in Wilcoe, WV, he was the son of the late, Frank and Opal Bailey Jennings. He was a resident of McDowell County all of his life. He was employed by Industrial Bearing and Jims Engines, before his retirement. He was a member of the Panther Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. He enjoyed doing things for people without anything in return. His favorite past time was walking in the mountains.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, two sisters, Peggy Lambert and Margaret Louise Jennings, five brothers, Frank Jennings Jr, Charles Jennings, Robert Jennings, Lewis Jennings, and Douglas Jennings.Survivors include, his wife, Ovella Lester Jennings, of the home, one son, William Jennings Jr and wife Alma of Prince George , VA, one daughter, Teresa Kay Goad and husband Mark of Evansville IN, four grandchildren, William Jennings III, Ouadra Jennings, Emille Goad, and Olivia Goad, two great grandchildren, Treshaun Jennings, and Esau Johnson, three sisters, Elizabeth Clark of Coalwood, WV, Emma Guevremont of Putnam, CT, Vickie Revet of Hartford CT, two brothers, Garnet Jennings of Coalwood, WV, Richard Jennings of Hartford, CT.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11 A.M. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV, with Pastor Kermit Lester officiating, burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Princeton, WV.
