"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."With much sadness the children of Madalene Cline announce the passing of their mommy on February 25, 2025 at the age of 81. She passed suddenly and peacefully in the arms of her son Danny “Tucker”.
"Madalene was a wonderful wife, daughter, mother, nana and neighbor. She was the rock of her family and served God faithfully after being saved at the age of 17. Madalene was known for her beautiful heart, touching voice and her love for Jesus. Madalene helped establish the Mohawk Community Church where she labored for many years with her grandmother, mother, sisters, Donna Cline, and Millie Blankenship as well as others.
"Madalene was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Harold Cline, in 2008. She was also preceded by her parents, Zink and Myrtle Bailey; a sister, Glenda Bailey, brothers, Gene Bailey and Zink “Duke” Bailey Jr.; and two special nephews, Nicholas Akers and Rockie Bailey and a brother-in-law, Lawyer Jr. Bailey.
"Madalene is survived by her five children Harold “Spider” Cline Jr., Derrick Cline and wife Sandra of Princeton, Danny “Tucker” Cline and wife, Brenda of Bull Creek, Andrea Tye and husband Mike of Princeton, and Kimberly Blankenship and husband Leslie of Thomasville, NC. Madalene was also blessed with six grandchildren; Joshua Cline, Jarrod Justus, Jeremy Cline, Bethany Pentasuglia, Emily Jones and Alexus Miller; two great granddaughters, Madaleine and Ivy; one soon to be great grandson, Jett Jaxtyn; two sisters, Freda Birchfield and husband Steve of Mohawk and Wilma "Sue Bee" Prevento and husband Darrell of Welch; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
