"Kopperston, April 19 - Demp, Johnson, 66, died at his home here at 4:45 am on Saturday (April 18). He had been ill for two years. Born June 30, 1886, he was the son of George and Ebbie Nunley Johnson of Rush, KY. Surviving are his wife, Annie; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Kennedy and Mrs, Helen Belcher of Hatcher; two sons, Roy of Hatcher and Ray of Accoville; two brothers, Ed Johnson of Scarbro and Frank Johnson of Rush, Ky; two sisters, Mrs. Many Hall and Mrs. Fannie Hall of Davin; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral rites will be conducted Monday at 11 am from the Kopperston Freewill Baptist Church. The Rev. Clyde Hall of Matheny will officiate, and burial will be in the family cemetery at Accoville."
