"Born August 2, 1922 in Mohawk, Mr. Trent was a son of the late Dewey Trent Sr. and Rebecca Walker Trent. He was affiliated with the Holiness faith, was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army, and member of the VFW Post 7657 of Bradshaw. He was retired miner and member of UMWA.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; one sister; and one daughter.
Survivors in crude his wife Imogene Workman Trent of the Home. three daughters, Mrs. Brian (Linda Faye) Gilligan of Woodbridge, VA, Mrs. Mark (Dorothy) Mitchell Morgantown NC, and Miss Marilyn Trent of Hickory, NC, three brothers, Fred Trent of Princeton, Graham Trent of Somerset Oh, and dewey Trent Jr. of Iaeger; one sister, Brookie Trent of Long Pole; and two grandchildren."
