"Survivors include his wife, Kathy Ann Honaker Mitchem of the home; two daughters, Renee Mitchem of the home and Jenny Mitchem and fiance, Scott Gilbert, of Lenoir; a granddaughter, Bethany Travis of Lenoir; a grandson, Boyce Wayne Travis of Lenoir; and 11 brothers and sisters.
"The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Ray York at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bright Light Tabernacle Church.
The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
"Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens..."
