" William Douglas Hatfield, 67 of Hanover, formerly of Gilbert, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 14th, 2012, from his residence."Born February 6, 1945, at Gilbert, he was the son of the late Aubrey Edward and Icy Pearl Toler Hatfield.
"In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Benny R. Hatfield and one sister, Dolly Kathleen Hatfield.
"William was a wonderful husband, loving father, and a special grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a retired coal miner and attended the Sharon Heights Assembles. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

" Hallie Davis Hatfield, 99 of Mallory, traded her earthly home for her Heavenly home on Sunday, May 20, 2012,after a brief illness, with her family by her side,"Born on September 18, 1912, at Verner, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Ocie Browning Davis. Also, preceding her in death were her daughters Ruth Hatfield (Adam) Picchione and June Hatfield (Nick) Picchione, sisters Lola Lester and Bessie Tindale, and brothers Oscar, Aubrey, Ezra “Red”, Gora and Ora.
"Hallie was a loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of the Verner Community Church and at the age of 90, she retired as a cook for the members of the Stafford EMS who held a special place in her heart. She was such a wonderful, loving and kind lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
