"Janice Faye Brown Banther, 72, of Oceana, WV passed away on Tuesday February 12, 2019 in Camden Clark
Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV. She was born on November 13, 1946 in Skin Fork, WV a daughter of the
late John and Valley Browning Brown. Janice was the last surviving member of her family. She is preceded
in death by her husband J.D. Banther. Survivors include two sons Jimmie (Kimberly) Banther of Matheny
and Jackie (Phyllis) Banther of Oceana; three grandchildren Samantha Morgan of Oceana, Kyle (Channing)
Lusk of Oceana and Joshua (Haleigh) Banther of Matheny; four great grandchildren Kyleigh, Ethan, Joseph
