"Arville worked 35 years at Eastern Associated Coal Corporation in Kopperston. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports on T.V., listening to sports on the radio and just spending time with his family.
"Other than his parents, Arville was preceded in death by his four brothers, Wendell Smith, Alvin Smith, David Smith and Micheal Smith; three sisters, Helen Woosley, Edna Smith and Sylvia Bailey; a special son-in-law, Gerald Mullens; and a special grandson, Adam Mullens.
"Arville is now in Heaven above waiting for his only love his wife of 55 years, Betty Smith; he also waits for his son, Mike Smith of Glen Fork; his daughter, Tammie Smith of Jesse and her companion, Randall Tilley of Oceana; also left to cherish his beautiful memories are three brothers, Darrell Smith of Monroe County, K.V. Smith and wife, Wilma of Pineville and Bobby Smith and his wife, Janice of N.C.; and a sister, Gloria Spence of MacArthur.
"In addition to his wife, children, brothers, and sister, Arville also has five grandchildren who were very special to him and who will continue to uplift and cherish his memory, Leslie Mullens and fiance' Mark Sturgill of Jesse, Roncheski Bailey and husband, Jason of Crany, Travis Smith of Glen Fork, Desirea Mullins and husband, Zach of Glen Fork, and Kyle Smith his "Monkey Bear" of Glen Fork; five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Makyleigh Sturgill, Grayson, Ashley, Ella and Olivia Bailey.
"Arville also has several nieces and nephews a very dear special friend, Michelle Tilley of Sabine and a host of other family and friends who will be cherishing his memory.

"Vincent “Vince” Allen Smith 48, of Skin Fork, passed away Monday March 27, 2017.'Born May 26, 1968 in Misawa, Japan. He was the son of the late Alvin Vaughn Smith, and Mary Virginia Cook Smith Dunn of Skin Fork.
"Vince was a 1987 graduate of Pineville High School, and was a welder for most of his working career. He loved hunting, fishing, and enjoying time on his boat. Vince loved spending time with his children. He would go out of his way to help anyone that was in need. He attended Brenton Church of God, and Cooper Memorial Baptist Church. He loved studying his bible.
"In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ned and Marie Cook, his paternal grandparents Oley and Marie Smith, and many uncles and aunts.
"In addition to his mother those left to cherish Vince’s memory include his two children: Alexius “Allie” Smith, and Alexander “Alex” Smith. His sister: Rebecca Smith Brown, his step-father Roger Dunn, his uncle Earl Cook, his Aunt Shelia Cook Francis Riffe and a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
