"Preceded in death by in addition to her parents; her husband, Mose Hagerman; one brother; and three sisters.

"Survivors include one son, Mose J. Hagerman of War; two brothers, Jesse Fred Dunford of Rock, W.Va., and Mose Harold Dunford of Lashmeet, W.Va.

"Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in War with the Reverend Charlie Kennedy, officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton, W.Va..."

"RODERFIELD — Larry Roosevelt Bishop Sr., age 64, of Alzina Street, Roderfield, W.Va. went to be with the Lord Friday evening, May 4, 2012, at the McDowell Nursing and Rehab. Center after a long illness. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” 2nd Timothy, Chapter 4, Verse 7,. Larry was born on Jan. 1, 1948 in McDowell County to the late Theodore (Ted) Bishop and Palma Maudine Draper Bishop. He was a 1968 graduate of Welch High School,

"He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and he served during the Vietnam War. He was a former coal miner working for Olga Coal Co. and Red Ash Coal Co. When he was in better health, he loved to hunt and fish. Larry's last hobby, that he loved the most was four-wheeling in the mountains. He suffered a traumatic four-wheeling accident which caused declining health from which he never fully recovered. Within a year of his accident he underwent a left leg amputation which left him wheelchair bound. He managed to live the rest of his life at home with assistance from others and he loved taking care of his beloved dog and companion "Pooter.” Larry was of the Baptist and Pentecostal faith, he attended the Ark of Safety Church, Roderfield, W.Va. He was a resident of McDowell County most of his life. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Ida Draper; uncles, Kim, Bernard, and Curtis Draper; aunts, Ethel Pucket Mounts, Lucy Green Foster, and Alice Mills.
