business agent for Carpenters Union No. 1534 and was a veteran of World War II.
"Survivors in addition to his mother include his widow, Mrs. Helen Brown Rose, one son Buster Kestner
of Petersburg; two brothers, Wannis Rose of Chester, Va., and Chester Rose of Statesville, N.C.; one sister,
Mrs. Hallie Lambert of Iaeger; and one grandson, James B. Kestner of Petersburg.
