Mary Rowe Foley; born 20 Apr 1893 in Wyoming Co, WV; died 16 Sep 1927 at Bartley,
McDowell Co, WV"Mary is in an unmarked grave. She died of diabetic complications in 1927,
leaving her husband Michael Cornelius Foley and her children. She had lost several children as
infants, and one son, Michael, was killed in a mining accident after her death on 17 March 1928, in
Carretta, Big Creek, McDowell, West Virginia, USA.
"She was missed and remembered fondly by her children, including my mother, who was only 12
years of age when she died.
"She was the daughter of Alfred Rowe and Margaret "Maggie" Standley.
Michael and her remaining family soon moved to Connecticut, where they had families of their own,
and have now all passed on".

He was the son of Michael Cornelius Foley, and his wife, Mary Rowe Foley. He was killed only 6 months after the death of his mother, Mary Rowe Foley, who is also buried nearby in another unmarked grave in this cemetery."
