"Their grandson, Arnold was born June 13, 1933 in Welch. 1952 he graduated from Welch High School. He married Joyce and is an employee of the Welch Post Office.
"April, 1984 Arnold won an all expense paid trip to the 1984 Olympic Games at Los Angeles, CA. He was ·a winner of one of ten grand prizes in the "M&M's" Chocolate candy Giant Jar Sweep Stake. He guessed closest to the actual number of plain Mand M's in the jar. The jar held 489,823 M and M's.
"The four day three night package included a round trip airfare to Los Angeles, accommodations at the Disneyland Hotel and tickets to the Olympic events for four days. Their son, Alan Dean was born August 25, 1958 in Welch. 1976 he was an honor graduate of Welch High School. He was a delegate to Mountaineer Boys State and a member of the National Honor Society and the Key Club. "
