Sept. 9, 1961 - Oct. 9, 2014"Woodsonette Alley, age 53, of North Welch, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Welch Community Hospital; following a short illness. Born September 9, 1961, in Chicago IL, she was the daughter of Rita Fairbanks Alley and the late Wayne Woodson Alley.
"She was a secretary for the safety department at Cliffs Coal Mine; and she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary unit 8 in Welch WV. In addition to her Father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Della and Maxwell "Fuzz" Fairbanks, and Vernon and Margaret Alley.
"Survivors include her mother, Rita Fairbanks Alley of North Welch WV, two sisters; Tina Bailey and husband Owen of Rhode Island, and Margaret Irene Pine and husband Mark of Wheaton IL. Special niece and nephew, Mayson W. and Bunny M. Pine of Huntington WV. Uncles and aunts Dyson and Nancy Fairbanks of Somerset KY, Harold and Jackie Fairbanks of Roderfield WV, Brenda Hall Mullins and husband Mack of Big Sandy WV, Delores and Leonard Murdoch of Ashfork AZ, Larry D.
