"Mrs. Gross became a resident of Wyoming County at the age of 12. She traveled and visited several states before
marrying and settling in Brenton as a devoted wife and mother.
"In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Gross in 1971; eight brothers, Jesse
Miller, Basil "Tob" Miller, James Miller, Sampy D. Miller, Warren Miller, John C. Miller, Albert Miller Jr. and John W.
Miller; a sister, Kansas Marie Miller; and a granddaughter, Marilla Anne Radford.
"Survivors include a son, Chester Gross and his wife, Evelyn, of Bland, Va.; two daughters, Sharon Fields of Glover
