"Calvin H. Morgan, age 84, of Pendleton Kentucky, died February 2, 2010 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY, following a lengthy illness.
"He was born on March 10, 1925 in Emmett WV. He worked as a coal miner in WV until 1959 and was a member of the United Mine Workers. He retired from the Lorain Ford Assembly Plant in 1985 and was a member of UAW Local 425. He spent his retirement with his children and grandchildren.
"He is survived by his daughter Patricia Morgan, of KY, sons Calvin "Larry" Morgan, ofFL, David Morgan, of KY, Terry "Randy" Morgan, of OH, a sister Shelby (Irson) Robinette, of Berlin Heights, OH, a brother Marshall (Joanne), of Huron, OH, sister-in-law, Phyllis Morgan, of Berlin Heights, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
"He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Martha (Walls) Morgan; sisters, Helen Browning and Evelyn Fowler; brothers Robert, Freeman, Paul and Charles Morgan; and granddaughter, Teresa .
