He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dodson; son, Allen Dodson; and brother, Johnny Dodson.
"He was a former employee of the Board of Education and retired from the Department of Natural Resources. He enjoyed spending time with his family and special sister-in-law, Lillian Lane.

"Born Nov. 23, 1924, at Crum, she was the daughter of the late Arch Jess and Grace Estep Fuller. "A 50-year resident of Pineville, she was a homemaker and attended the Pineville Church of the Nazarene. Prior to her marriage in 1944, she worked on an assembly line in a war-time plant near Washington, D.C., when she met her soon-to-be husband, Bob "Thelma was the caring, oldest sibling to nine brothers and sisters. A loving mother to five children and was affectionately known as “Granny Hosch” by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She thoughtfully recognized each of her 32 “children” at Christmas, on their birthdays and wedding anniversaries. "In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrew “Bob” Hosch Sr. on April 26, 1989; three brothers, Archie Jess “Buddy” Fuller, Jimmy Fuller and Jerry Ray Fuller; a sister, Eunice Dalton; and two grandchildren, Keith and Tabitha Hosch.
