"LILLYDALE — Barbara Arrington Blevins, 74, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley following a long illness. "Born Sept. 7, 1933, at Lynco, she was the daughter of the late John and Cora Burse Arrington. "Barbara was a member of Pentecostal House of Prayer at Lynco. She enjoyed being with friends and family and she loved the Lord. She most enjoyed her three grandsons, whom she loved very much and who meant everything to her. "In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth P. Blevins, and four brothers, Carl, Gene, Johnny and Billy Arrington. "Survivors include a son, Mark Blevins of Lillydale; a daughter, Dana “Cokie” Cline and her husband, Jeff, of Ridgeway, S.C.; a sister, Janice Milam of Prospect Hill, N.C.; a brother, Walter Arrington of Lynco; and three grandsons, Jacob Cline, Jeremy Cline and Hunter Cline. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. "Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, at Evans Memorial Chapel, Oceana, with the Rev. Firg Proffitt officiating. Burial will follow at Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny..."
