"Born August 5, 1934, at Herndon, he was the son of the late Joseph F Lusk and Dicie (Whitt) Lusk. "Cecil was a former coal miner, a member of U.M.W.A., a lifetime resident of Wyoming County and was a member of the Basin Freewill Baptist Church. "In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by three sons; a grandson, Franklin Scott Bailey; two sisters, Helen McKinney and Betty Tiller; a brother, Clyde Lusk; and three half brothers, Terry, Kenneth and Tony McKinney. "Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Virginia Faye (Robertson) Lusk; Cecil and Faye were united in marriage in Pineville in 1954, and to this union they had six children, Barbara Kay Foley of Lusk Settlement, Herndon, Cecil Andrew Lusk (deceased), "Rebecca Jane Combs of Fayetteville, Charles Anthony Lusk (deceased), Drema Lynn Bailey of Basin and Joseph Allen Lusk (deceased); three sons-in-law that he thought of as sons, David Foley, Franklin Bailey and Carlos Combs; a half sister, Kathy Adkins of Basin; and 21 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
