Robert Day. "Preacher Day’s life and service will be honored and remembered at Cornatzer Baptist Church Saturday, Dec. 20. The body will be placed in the church 10 to 11 a.m. The service will begin at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jeff Beverly officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship building after the service. "Preacher Day served as pastor of Cornatzer Baptist Church in Davie County for 36 years. He also served as pastor at Smith Grove Baptist Church in Davidson County, N.C., and at Lookout Baptist Church in Fayette County, W.Va. "In addition to his pastoral ministry, the Rev. Day taught at Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, N.C., and was an Emeritus member of the General Council of Baptist Mid-Missions in Cleveland, Ohio.
