She was the wife of the former pastor of The Alpoca Pentecostal Church Of God, Alpoca where she attended for more than 34 years. In her leisure she enjoyed cooking, raising her family, and always put the needs of others before her own. "In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Arlon E. White; a daughter, Deborah Lynn White; a sister, Vida Bishop; a brother, Paul Cox and a infant brother, Buddy Bishop. James Daugherty

"Jamie Daugherty, 45, of Roderfield WV, passed away, Monday, October 8, 2018 at Welch Community Hospital. Born March 16, 1973 in Welch WV, he was the son of the late Jackie and Eunice Mullins Daugherty.
He was a resident of McDowell County all of his life. He was a kind and compassionate person. He was always willing to help anybody. He loved his family and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Roderfield Christian Church. He was a coal miner all of his life; working for Eddie Asbury at Raw Coal, where he counted his coworkers and employer, Eddie Asbury among his closest friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one niece, Jessica Daugherty, one nephew, Jeremy Daugherty, and one brother-in-law Shaun Wellman whom he loved like a brother.
Survivors include, his loving wife Crystal Daugherty of the home, two brothers, Marty and wife Delphine of Iaeger WV, Ricky and wife Karen of Iaeger WV. Mother-in-law Mary Wellman Mahon whom he loved like a mother, brother-in-law’s Pat Wellman and wife Barbie of Louisa VA, Joe Wellman and wife Brandy of Gilbert WV, sister in law Tina Billings and husband Randy of Elyria OH, special niece and nephew Katelyn and Blake Lauderback whom he loved dearly.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11 A.M. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch WV, with Pastor Johnny Gale Pennington officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Cemetery on Coon Branch Mtn. ..."
