"In addition to her passing Rosetta was preceded in death by her first husband Raymond Fain and second husband Patrick Rosenbaum, sisters Bessie Kelly, Gladys Segers, Edith Saylers Ethel Mullins and Roxie Johnson; brothers Shurla Sweeney, Charlie Sweeney, William Sweeney, Jr. and Benny Sweeney.

"A graduate of Iaeger High School, he was a Navy veteran and a self-employed machinist and fabricator, operating Moon's Machine Company in Belmont for a number of years. He was an avid hobbyist in beekeeping, and had been a member of the North Carolina Beekeeper's Association for a number of years; he was named the North Carolina Beekeeper of the year in 2003 at the annual convention held in Charlotte, N.C. He was also active in the local Parents without Partners group. "He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Eugene Mullins; and sisters, Alice Wysor, Betty Mullins, Pauline Rose, and Margaret Mullins.
